About Us

The choristers of Caerphilly Ladies' Choir share a love of singing. The choir has a broad repertoire, and is equally at home singing Welsh melodies, spirituals, operatic choruses, sacred music, popular songs and songs from the stage musicals.

Caerphilly Ladies Choir performs around fifteen concerts a year, all for worthwhile causes. Venues vary from small churches and community centres to large halls and cathedrals. The choir has performed at Caerphilly Castle; Brangwyn Hall in Swansea; St. David's Hall, the Wales Millennium Centre and the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff; the Albert Hall in London, the Millennium Dome in London and at York Minster.

The choir enjoys an annual tour in May, visiting towns and cities in Wales and England. Usually the tour includes performing with a male voice choir, and we have performed with choirs from York, Hull, Bournemouth, Chester, Torquay and Bideford.

The choir has also toured abroad, in France, Germany and Spain.
